One of the leading producers in Chile, Julio Bouchon, has been producing award-winning wines in the Maule Valley since 1991, combining state of the art techniques and equipment with a long family tradition dating back to 1892 when E. G. Bouchon, a native of Bordeaux, arrived in Chile. The style of wine making is very much Old World elegance combined with New World zest, freshness and excitement. From their 'Las Mercedes' vineyard here is a Sauvignon that has a reserved beginning that develops into the exotic but balanced fruit flavours of the Americas.
