2006 Sauvignon de Touraine, Alain Marcadet, AOC Touraine
Fantastically good value and a distinct favourite here at CCFW. A really classy, fresh, aromatic and fruity white wine. Based at Domaine des Chezelles in the Touraine district, Alain Marcadet produces a Sauvignon which many a vigneron from Pouilly or Sancerre would be proud to have their label on. Ideal with fish and more than a little beguiling as an aperitif.

Price:£ 8.40/75cl bottle... sold in cases of 12 @ £100.80/ case Qty:
2005 Ménétou-Salon, Domaine Henri Pellé, Morogues, AOC Ménétou-Salon
The Ménétou-Salon appellation is often underrated despite being the oldest in the Central Vineyard region. It covers the village of Ménétou-Salon and nine surrounding villages away to the west of the Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé appellations. The wines produced are dry with strong Sauvignon characteristics and an appealing nose. Julien Zernott at Domaine Henri Pellé has long been considered the brightest star of the appellation. He consistently produces vibrant, racy, herbaceous, grassy wines that rival the very best from Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé.

Price:£ 12.90/75cl bottle... sold in cases of 12 @ £154.80/case Qty:
2006 Sancerre Les Caillottes, Domaine J-M Roger, Bué, AOC Sancerre
In Sauvignon Blanc country, Jean-Max Roger is one of the undisputed leaders. With estates in Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and Ménétou-Salon and a family history of vine-growing going back over 400 years, it is hardly surprising that Jean-Max knows exactly what he is doing vintage after successful vintage. We love the fresh, clean bouquets he achieves and the light but penetrating flavours.

Price:£ 17.20/75cl bottle... sold in cases of 6 @ £103.20/case Qty:
